...THe Ve RSATILe PARK BOARD THAT CAN RIP THe MOUNTAINAs one of the most versatile freestyle board on the market, it’s no surprise to find out that the 2021 Burton Process is the best selling board in the Burton line. Blurring the lines between park riding & all-mountain freestyle it’s the perfect board for intermediate to experienced riders who don’t want to be constrained out on the mountain. Built around a versatile yet fully balanced true-twin shape, the Process takes advantage of Burton’s innovative Flying V profile. This combination delivers the perfect balance of skate-inspired freestyle feel with all-terrain control & response. Combine that ride anything 700g Super Fly II Squeezebox core with tri-ax structural layers & what you have is an excellent performing snowboard that’s going to deliver no matter what or where you ride. Rider Profile: Freestyle All Terrain Riders Intermediate to experienced riders who are looking for a great performing but ultimately an easier going all-terrain snowboard. Shape Overview: Twin The Process utilises a versatile all-terrain friendly twin-tip shape. This perfectly symmetrical profile delivers a balanced ride that’s equally versatile when ridden regular or switch. No matter if you’re Jibbing, spinning, stomping landings or even just buttering around, this twin shape delivers the ultimate in freestyle balance & stability. Now one of the main reasons that the Process still rips when it comes to putting it down on groomers & icy run-in’s is down to the innovative Frost Bite edges. Frostbite edges extend out slightly beneath your bindings for tremendous edge-hold on hard, icy conditions. Powerful when you need them, playful when you don’t, Frostbite edges are hungry for hard-pack while remaining smooth, flowing, & forgiving. Profile: V Rocker To help the Process deliver its full range of performance, Burton utilises their state of the art Flying V profile. A blend of camber & rocker performance, Flying V™ offers the best of both worlds. Rocker overall, including between & outside your feet, enhances playfulness & float. Underneath your feet, subtle camber zones focus edge-control for crisp snap, added pop, & powerful turns. Construction Key to the Process’s exceptional performance is the high-end construction. Heading this up is the advanced Squeezebox FSC Super Fly II™ 700G Core with Dualzone™ e GD™. This state of the art profiled wood core uses stronger & lighter woods targeted to specific areas of the core, providing pop, strength, & reduced weight. To fine tune this even further, the wood grain is positioned along the toe & heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core. This gives consistent edge-hold & added strength. Now to provide the Process with its perfect blend of high performance & more relaxed ride, Burton forms the structural layers from their responsive tri-ax glass. This high-performance glass fibre increases torsional flex to deliver a more stable & reassuring ride. Base: Sintered The sintered base is durable & highly porous, increasing damage resistance & superior wax absorption for a faster overall glide.
