HIGH-e ND PARK BOARD THAT CAN RIP THe MOUNTAIN
The Process has been a key model in the Burton range for what seems like forever. Its unique ability to blur the lines between out & our freestyle board & all-mountain ripper has made it not only one of the most popular boards in the Burton range but also one of the best-selling boards worldwide. Aimed at intermediate to advanced riders the Process delivers the perfect balance of easy-going cruisy ride, with a responsive get up & go for those days where you want to charge around. equally happy lapping the park as it is blasting groomers as it is playing around in the side country, the Process really is the perfect full quiver board for riders who don't want to break the bank.
Rider Profile
Intermediate to experienced riders who are looking for a great performing but ultimately an easier going all terrain snowboard.
Shape Overview
The Process utilises a versatile all-terrain friendly twin-tip shape. This is perfectly symmetrical & delivers a balanced ride that's equally versatile when ridden regular or switch. No matter if you're Jibbing, spinning, stomping landings or even just buttering around. The twin shape delivers the ultimate in freestyle balance & stability. Now one of the main reasons that the Process still rips when it comes to putting it down on groomers & icy run-in's is down to the innovative Frost Bite edges. Frostbite edges extend out slightly beneath your bindings for tremendous edge-hold on hard, icy conditions. Powerful when you need them, playful when you don't, Frostbite edges are hungry for hard-pack while remaining smooth, flowing, & forgiving.
Profile
For 18/19, Burton has re-engineered the Process's camber profile. Out goes the traditional camber & in comes the more versatile Pure Pop Camber. This evolution of a traditional camber shape features subtle flat zones just outside your feet to amplify pop & add playfulness to the snap & response of camber. early rise tip & tail sections spin & float with a catch-free feel.
Construction
Key to the Process's exceptional performance is the high-end construction. Heading this up is the advanced Squeezebox FSC Super Fly IIª 700G Core with Dualzoneª e GDª. This state of the art profiled wood core uses stronger & lighter woods targeted to specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength, & reduced weight. To fine tune this even further, the wood grain is positioned along the toe & heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core. This gives consistent edge-hold & added strength. Now to provide the process with its perfect blend of high performance & more relaxed ride, Burton forms the structural layers from their responsive tri-ax glass. This high-performance glass fibre increases torsional flex to deliver a more stable & reassuring ride.
Base
The sintered base is durable & highly porous, increasing damage resistance & superior wax absorption for a faster overall glide.
