GAMe-CHANGING JIB BOARDAt home hitting technical urban street spots & demanding park lines, the 20201 Bataleon Global Warmer takes jib board performance to a whole new level. Built around an advanced fully balanced twin tip shape, this unique park board combines state of the art design & advanced materials to deliver a class-leading performance that redefines the boundaries of technical freestyle snowboarding. No matter if you’re hitting snowdome rails or lapping the pro-line in the park, the Global Warmer’s unique ability to take on every aspect of freestyle snowboarding sets it apart from just about any other park-inspired board on the market. Rider Style: Technical Urban & Park riders Jibbers & urban terrain riders are looking for the ultimate board to push their riding to the next level. Shape Overview: True Twin The GW utilises a state of the art blunt tip & tail twin chassis. This unique, balanced shape has been specially designed to deliver the ultimate in control & feel. This ensures that no matter how technical your park riding gets, you’ll always feel in charge. However, thanks to the innovative nose & tail profile & 3BT base shape, the Global Warmer isn’t just a one-trick pony, this is one jib board that can deliver great performance when cruising around the mountain. Profile: Jib 3BT with Low Camber Key to the Global Warmer’s stunning performance is the urban terrain specific Jib 3BT with Side Kick base profile. This advanced 3D base profile with a mellow camber delivers the perfect riding characteristics for this type of board. Combining a wide centre base with narrow, low angle side base uplift, the Global Warmer provides a precise, manoeuvrable & hook-free ride. The wide centre base then creates a stable platform to press, load up ollies & put down landings. Perfect for urban, jib & park driven riders. Side Kicks Side Kick dramatically increases the side base uplift just outside the widest part of the nose & tail. This makes turn initiation smoother, increases float in powder & improves the handling of the board in rough terrain. Construction Internally the GW utilises some of the most advanced construction available to deliver its unique hi-performance ride. Heading this up is the all-new Ultra-Light Core. This super-light full-length wood core features a combination of 70% lightweight paulownia with 30% durable poplar. This creates a responsive but featherweight foundation to deliver the optimum balance of weight, strength & performance. To add an extra level of pop, the core also features Bataleon’s CST reinforcing. CST places a hollow carbon rod into a milled-out channel on the base of the core, stepping up pop as well as powering up the camber for more snap & drive. Now to give the GW its playful & confidence-inspiring ride, the structural layers are formed from bi-ax glass reinforced with carbon stringers. These run across the width of the board under both bindings allowing you to load up the flex for increased pop without adversely affecting the torsional stiffness. Base To deliver excellent performance across all snow conditions, the GW utilises the durable Super Slick X Base. This high quality extruded base has the highest molecular weight of any extruded base on the market. That means it’s tougher & faster while remaining virtually maintenance-free. Float Surface: 151 = 56 154 = 58 New for this season on all Bataleon Boards is the Float-Surface rating. This measurement is calculated via a complex equation that takes into account surface area, nose & tail profile & set back. This then gives you a rating on how the board lifts & floats in powder, giving you a real comparison between the new generation of short, wide board against a traditional snowboard. Float surface starts at 50 for the lowest-rated board & goes up to 96 for the highest-rated board
