The Head Rush Rocka is an entry level freestyle snowboard with a full rocker profile for easy turns. The Rush may be an entry level board, but it features full wood core, Heads Rocka profile to reduce catching an edge & generate loads of float in the powder. Soft & Buttery, it’s a great board to develop those park skills. Specification: Construction: Rocka Board Profile, Flock Twin Shaping, Cruiser Jacket Laminate, Wood Core, Extruded Base Length: 158cm Running length: 77.9cm Waist
Width: 25.4cm Sidecut radius: 5.9 Metres Setback: Twin Flex: 3
Features: Rocka profile boards have no flat or raised sections in the profile. This means that it is virtually impossible to catch an edge, making for a very forgiving ride, ideal for less experienced riders, & those who favour the park & easy cruising. The effective edge on Rocka boards is shorter than on the other Head profiles, ideal for presses & butters, but not quite so well suited to fast carving. Twin Directional sidecuts feature symmetrical sidecut profile & flex patterns, with the bindings offset toward the rear of the board, resulting in an extremely versatile board that can throw down on hardpack, in the park & in the backcountry. A Wood core is made from stringers of lightweight Poplar. Strong & durable. Extruded bases are extremely durable & easy to maintain. A choice of board profile makes a huge difference to your riding options. Head have done a fine job to offer a variety of board profiles at their entry level price point. The Rush is a great choice for those fairly new to the sport, but with aspirations of freestyle superstardom. Great for jumps, tricks, jibs & more. This soft & buttery board would also be a great choice for a more advanced rider looking for a board to ride street for those few snowy days we get here in Blighty.
