This widest womens freeride ski from K2 provides the lost float for deep powder but is built with a twin tip for easy release in soft snow & added maneuverability. Ample camber underfoot increases the Remedys capabilities when the pow gets tracked out.

Specification Sidecut:  146mm-117mm-134mm Radius: 20 Metres (For 169cm Length) Base Profile:  Powder Rocker Ski Core: Triaxial Braid, Bio Flex 3 Core Bindings: Ski Only Features & Benefits Powder Rocker This tip has the most elevation & longest measurement of Rocker & offers skiers a “surfy” feel with enhanced soft-snow performance. The camber region still exists to ensure edge-hold on firmer conditions. Simply put, Powder Rocker provides unmatched flotation in deep snow. Progressive Sidecut Progressive sidecut is a combination of two different radii, or sidecuts, that enhance the versatility of wider-waist skis. Standard sidecut theory is based on using a single radius. This works well on narrower skis, but becomes overpowering on wider skis, especially in variable conditions. The use of progressive sidecut on wider-waist skis guarantees enhanced turn initiation & hard-snow performance. Bioflex Cores All of K2’s women’s skis use cores that feature a combination of Aspen, Paulownia, & Bamboo. Bio Flex cores are comprised of strong Aspen wood underfoot, which is fused with lightweight Paulownia in the tip & tail using a specific interlocking pattern that reduces swing-weight & provides a smooth-flexing ski. For 2013/14, K2 continues to apply this technology through one of the following three variations of Bio Flex, each specifically tuned to target different performance goals. Bioflex 3 – 80% Aspen/20% Paulownia – Increased performance, strength, & durability Twintech Sidewall Twin Tip specific construction increases the durability of K2 sidewall skis. A traditional sidewall construction produces a 90-degree angle where the top material & sidewall meet. The Twin Tech construction rolls the top material into the sidewall, reducing the angle that is prone to abuse, minimizing ski-to-ski impact damage. Powder Tip Designed to be more predictable in soft snow conditions, these tips are designed to strike the perfect balance of maximizing float while reducing tip deflection. These tips are designed with a gentle arc & transition into the sidecut of the ski. Skin Grommets The new freeride tip & tail grommets are a clean, simple design that no longer requires a plug. The durable rubber coating disguises a slit designed to accommodate both the Z clip for our skin attachments, & the components to build a rescue sled. Swap Base The bases of these skis can come in two different color ways, depending of how the colors are swapped on the base. This gives two looks to the same ski, & ensures you are not rocking the exact same pair as your buddy who just picked up the same pair of skis. Triaxial Braid The patented Triaxial Braiding machine interlocks strands of fiberglass around a milled core, resulting in great torsional strength while retaining the lively flex patterns inherent in a wood core ski. Try releasing some of that tension to give your swollen feet a bit of respite. Intuition Liners are highly regarded custom mouldable liners, using Ultralon Foam. K2 Rictor 82 XTI 2015 Mens Demo Skis With Marker Bindings

The Revered Rictor chassis features ROX technology and is second to none when it comes to performance, edge hold and control for expert skiers. We have stocked K2 since we started the business and with the range and quality of their skis it is easy to see why.  Speak to any staff member and they own or would like to own at least one pair from the K2 range. This year K2 have kept their range of skis the same, but have concentrated on improving performance.  They have done this by using a new comprehensive build process where a skis top shape is redesigned to complement the side profile along the entire ski.  They have called this ‘Baseline 2.0’ and K2 has managed to engineer skis for varied skier types and even different styles of skiing, while also finely tuning them for a
specific snow condition. The Revered Rictor chassis features all-Terrain RoX Technology and is second to none when it comes to performance, edge hold and control for expert all-mountain skiers. These skis use K2’s All mountain baseline2 technology.  These feature a shorter, round tip for predictable turn initiation, the tip ride is traditional, but when combined with All-Terrain Rocker it becomes even more versatile in all snow conditions.  Underfoot the skis boast a moderate sidecut that delivers stability and bigger sweet sports in all turns shapes whilst the tail are blunt and round creating a predictable turn release.  These skis have flat tails with camber extending right into the tail to offer great rebound. DEMO SKI This is a demo ski and we have categorised it as follows:
Ski Specification Geometry: 127mm/82mm/112mm for 177cm length Turn Radius: 17 Metres for 177cm length Terrain: All conditions Core Material: Aspin / Paulownia Camber/Rocker: All Terrain Rocker Technology: A.T. ROX / Metal Laminate / carbon web / Hybritech sidewall Bindings: Marker MXC 12TCx SKI PROFILE Snow Conditions: All Conditions Ski Terrain: Piste Skier Level: Advanced to Expert A weapon, this ski offers epic long radius high speed turns with amazing edge hold.  You really need to dig your edges in and you will then get amazing performance. A slightly narrower version of the Rictor 90, yet still an stiff aggressive powerhouse.  This ski offers amazing edge hold and feels really solid and stable.  This ski feels like it wants you to do more and will push your
skiing to the next level.  I firm favourite here at the edge and wax and a very popular seller last season with great feedback and reviews.
