Is this for me? These are features & benefits often not found on boots that cost considerably more, yet with all the build quality we’ve come to know & love from K2. A perfect boot for almost any female rider. Specification: Boa Coiler Lacing Conda Liner Laing Intuition Control Foam 3D liners Phy Light outsoles with Harshmellow 3D Formed EVA foot beds with Harshmellow inserts 3D Formed Tongue Micro Articulating Cuff Flex: 5 K2 was the first snowboard company to introduce Boa lacing systems. Twist the Boa dial on the front of your boot tongue, & the boot will evenly tighten. Push the button in, & the ratchet releases, & your boots loosen. The new Coiler version will even automatically retract the slack in your loose laces. Easy to use with gloves on, no more tangled laces, & if you have any concerns over the strength of the cable, don’t. They are strooooong. Conda Lacing Systems are a godsend. They allow you to adjust the tightness & hold of your inner laces, without having to loosen your outer laces. Pull at the toggle on the side of your boot cuff, & the internal lacing will pull your heel back in to your boot for added control. Aching feet? Try releasing some of that tension to give your swollen feet a bit of respite. Intuition Liners are highly regarded custom mouldable liners, using Ultralon Foam. Fully mouldable either in store as part of our free boot fitting process, or on the hill through the heat from your body. Intuition Control Foam 3D liners use high & standard density Intuition Ultralon foam for superior fit & support. They also feature internal & external ‘J’ bars for maximum ankle & heel hold. Insoles are constructed of 3D moulded Dual EVA with Harshmellow inserts for added comfort. Phylon is an extremely grippy & light, but has historically not been quite as durable as traditional rubber soles. The Phy-Light Outsoles have been constructed of the most durable Phylon available with Harshmellow inserts to give a lightweight, comfortable & strong boot sole construction. 3D Formed EVA Foot Beds with Harshmellow are engineered to provide excellent support, while the Harshmellow inserts provide cushioning & comfort. 3D Formed Tongue wraps the shape of the leg & foot & is made from one continuous piece of material helping to maintain the integrity of the flex. Micro Articulating Cuff reduces ‘blow out’ in the ankle area when the boot is flexed. The Sapera is a seriously good boot & it is easy to see what you get for your money with features packed on top of more features. This lightweight intermediate-advanced boot is primarily designed to offer the perfect fit for the vast majority of riders’ feet. Given the excellent build quality, dedication to proper fit & inclusion of so many genuinely useful features, it is hard to find a reason to buy any other boot. Is it for me? Mid-flex with fantastic fit improving features, the Sapera are aimed at intermediate to advanced riders but aren’t too stiff for the beginner that wants a boot they won’t progress out of. ...
