Holmenkol Alpha Mix Yellow Wax is an easy to apply premium universal hydrocarbon wax. It has a suggested operating temperature of +4°C to 0°C (Broadly European conditions). is optimised for softer snow, but works beyond these very well, & an iron setting of 115°C
- 125°C.

For those skiing in typical European conditions this is a great wax, & for the budding ski tech its easy to apply. Ideal when the snow is a little soft or wet, such as in the spring.

As a harder wax, it copes with lower temperatures with ease, & can be mixed with other Holmenkol hydrocarbon waxes to produce a finish for specific conditions. With this temperature range this is a highly versatile wax & a favourite here. Is This For Me? For those skiing in colder conditions, or wishing to add some initial protection to their bases before applying a universal wax.
