The new Head Collective 105 is an All-Mountain Freeride ski featuring Head’s new TTS Tip & Tail Stabiliser System for supreme float & control when off the sides. 105mm underfoot, the ski gives tonnes of float in powder & yet with ABS Sidewalls & a 60% camber underfoot can still tear up the pistes. This exo-skeleton tip & tail reduces swing weight & vibration whilst creating better pressure distribution on turn entry & exit. FEATURES & BENEFITS TTS is a stabilising exoskeleton which dampens the vibrations normally felt from rockered tips & tails also reducing the overall swing weight, & creates a ski with a playful yet high level of performance. The system is comprised of an elastomeric inlay for vibration control, as well as a glass fibre exoskeleton for stability & torsional strength. This combination not only reduced vibrations but creates better pressure distribution upon entry & exit of your turns, by minimising lateral flex of the skis. Reducing overall vibration means better edge control & therefore increases overall skiing performance. In addition, the reduction of core materials in the tip & tail has created a reduced swing weight for easier handling & manoeuvrability both on snow & in the air. All Ride Rocker
- Head place highly targeted amount of rocker in each model to ensure maximum performance for all ability levels. Steering is easier for all skiers & soft snow versatility is enhanced. 20% rocker
- 80% camber. A Sandwich Cap construction incorporates a traditional wood core & sidewall construction with an outer cap layer, for a blend of responsiveness & durability. Tuffwalls are impact resistant ABS Sidewalls, which maintain responsiveness but can also take a beating whilst offering a little damping too. ISS – Independent Suspension System, is a construction throughout the ski with damping at key points for a smoother ride when the going is chopped up underfoot.

For the Freeride skier who wants to still have good edge hold rather than going down the full-rocker path. Also ideal for those wanting to explore the back country by adding a touring mode binding. The Collective feels super smooth underfoot, whether in the powder or on the piste which is where full rocker skis can sometimes feel a bit ‘firm’. By keeping some camber, & with the damping system, this ski feels super smooth on & off the piste, & is a real eye-catching ski too! Very light for a 105mm ski thanks to those tips & tails.
