The Delirium is Garmonts stiffest Men’s Freeride Boot. The lower shell is double-injected with a stiffer internal “pod” that secures your foot in solid comfort & links seamlessly to the outer frame for incredible leverage. The High Overlap transmits power directly, exactly where you need it for precise ski control. Soles are quickly changed, snapped-in & secured with three bolts per boot. Forward lean adjustment is a no-brainer with three distinct positions, regulated by one hex bolt. As the clog of this boot is still a PU Garmont have tried to save the weight else where. The buckles are made from Magnesium, the they have a low profile & are light weight. The EZ lock catches that were originally developed for the Radium have been put on this boot too; the catches on the ratchets keep the buckle in place when hiking. The liner in this boot is Garmont’s EZ Fit liner, it has a great out of the box fit, but it is also 100% thermoformable. The liner has three different densities of foam for different areas of the foot, it is also fully lined to avoid seams & hard spots. The cuff of the liner has been reinforced to keep you out of the back seat & the tongue has T-bar reinforcement for shin protection & power.

Its close shape is Anatomically Directed Design to precisely follow the foot’s natural asymmetry. This boot’s response is instantaneous. Out of the box it fits like it’s been punched & stretched by a custom boot fitter. Garmont’s Shock Damper shell has flex ribs through the sole of the boot that provide a subtle longitudinal flex, that allow the boot to absorb shock & vibration resulting in a better, more responsive feel from the boot. The contour cuff is shaped to give much better contact & less play between the le & cuff. We will be stocking this boot with the high cuff, which is developed specifically for men. The high cuff bot weighs 2300g on a size 8UK, & it has a forward lean angle of 13°.
