The RADICAL FT speaks loud & clear: it is the perfect solution for ski mountaineers & freeriders who love descents. All the advantages are crystal clear: any other systems pales in comparison in terms of weight & performance. This is the 110mm brake option suitable for skis of up to around 105mm in width. The carbon plate stiffens by shifting the shock absorber forward into LOCK. In this position the rear rubber pieces work as dampeners, & the ski stiffens up. Also, this increases torsional rigidity between the carbon plate & binding front piece. The ski will have its natural flex characteristics in the UNLOCK position. 1) high connection plate in pressed carbon for maximum torsional rigidity 2) Shock absorber 3) extremely hard wearing (basically indestructible) toe-piece 4) maximum width (75 mm) for broad-shovel skis 5) Speed Step climbing bar 6) Side Towers for quick binding entry with QSI-Inserts & greater side impact resistance 7) optimized eccentric cam 8) adjustable length +/- 12.5 mm 9) stopper with gliding plate for excellent side release 10) new torx screws 11) jig/template optimized at the toe (just 4 screws instead of 5) Features high connection plate in pressed carbon for maximum torsional rigidity Shock Absorber extremely hard wearing toe-piece maximum width (75 mm) for broad-shovel skis Speed Step climbing bar Side Towers for quick binding entry & greater side impact resistance optimized Locking Lever adjustable length +/- 12.5 mm stopper with gliding plate for excellent side release new torx screws jig/template optimized at the toe (just 4 screws instead of 5)

Dynafit Se7en Summits Adjustable Ski Touring Poles

A stunning two-piece telescopic ski pole with the unique positive-locking Safety Snap system made from carbon lower and alloy/ti upper. These poles cannot shorten under load, making them unique.   It is not often that owner and buyer Scott gets excited by a product - He is a moody chap after all - but as someone who has worked with carbon fibre, he rates these poles as THE product of the season. The poles are adjustable, and there is nothing new in that. What is new, is that the issue with telescopic poles is that however strong you make the locking mechanism they are always prone to shortening under load which can be frustrating. Some, such as Leki, have all but eliminated this, but Dynafit has moved the goal posts and made it impossible to occur. This is achieved by notches
in the carbon fibre and then a clamping system with a steel plate that engages in the notch to prevent any chance of the poles sliding. Creating perfect notches in carbon fibre that are strong enough is extremely difficult to do whilst maintaining durability, but Dynafit have invested in the technology and materials required to achieve this. Other features on this pole are hardened and anodised alloy lower spikes with carbide steel tips, with replaceable powder baskets, an EVA foam grip with medium density for perfect grip and comfort, and a Greptile Gripzone which is a sheath of specially selected material on the top section of the pole to give more hand positioning options when on serious and long hikes. SPECIFICATION Safety Snap locking system, with carbon fibre notches
for rock solid clamping Winter disc and Alu Flex vario lower pole assembly with a carbide tip for precise grip Pack ski pole: 115 cm Maximum ski pole length: 145 cm Materials: 100% Carbon lower, and Titanium Alloy upper poles Feature: Greptile Gripzone Grips: EVA Ergo Grip with neoprene wrist straps Weight: 198 grams per pole   An absolutely stunning ski pole in every aspect. The locking mechanism is a simple and clever solution but having worked with carbon fibre is very hard to achieve. The grip is just the right density, the poles have plenty of rebound energy in them, and they are so light! My favourite product this season, and there are some great products this year so that is a bold statement!
