You will learn how to taste wine like the professionals do & about the intricacies of both red & white wines, such as how different climates, regions & grapes can affect the colour & flavour. After the day you can put your new found knowledge to practice to pick out some new wines from wine lists & aisles of your local supermarket. This is a real opportunity to appreciate wines in a comfortable setting & have some fun along the way! The format of the day varies depending on the location, & depending on the theme you will go into certain areas in greater depth, but generally you will:

- be taught how to taste & describe a wine

You will have the opportunity to taste some of the finest English wines & a selection of superb cask & bottle conditioned ales & liqueurs at Chiltern Valley Winery & Brewery. It is guaranteed to be a memorable experience! Your experience will include a tour around the winery, brewery & liqueur production facilities, grape pressing, bottling & labelling plant. This will be followed by a tutored tasting of a selection of the wines, ales & liqueurs. The wine tasting will consist of at least three wines, one sparkling, & two whites. You will also sample ales.
