Hang onto your hat with this fabulous combination of control, fun & excitement in a car! This rally experience will allow you to get to grips with your very own rally car, on a mile long special stage, where driving in a straight line is not allowed! The skid control course will really have you in & out of a spin. No where else can you experience front wheel & rear wheel skids, two fabulous experiences with a different twist. Learn the art of control & experience the feeling of out of control! Your experience will begin with a welcome, introduction & full safety briefing on driving techniques. Then its onto the driving. First you will start with four exciting special stage runs with your instructor acting as your co-driver. This is followed by a short break & then another four runs with expert tuition. The rally experience will end with a final assessment & a thrilling demonstration driven by your instructor. The second part of your experience will start with an interactive video on course familiarisation & safe driving lines. Once completed your first session in the car will be on the emergency avoidance lane where youll gain valuable knowledge of both ABS & non-ABS techniques. This session could be a real life saver! Next its off to the main skid area. Learn how to control a skid in both rear wheel & front wheel drive cars in a safe & fun environment. At the end you will be rewarded with an individual driving certificate. The person driving the car will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage to the vehicle. At Approx. one mile in length each time you take to the stage, this experience is a pure adrenaline rush which requires skill, concentration & plenty of assertive driving! Unlike other venues which use a circuit course with the same start & finish point, the Rockingham course replicates the special stage element of rally driving which uses closed roads & multiple terrains. Welcome to a world of natural obstacles, mud & shale where youll be speeding over the terrain of our unique rally course which was used as a Rally GB stage. Programme Your experience will start with a safety & driving techniques briefing. You will have 12 minutes for the first rally session then 13 minutes in the second rally session. The experience will end with a high speed passenger ride. Please note there is an option to purchase damage waiver insurance on the day of your experience. It’s a fantastic way to get a feel for the pure exhilaration of rally driving, & could even be the starting point for all you budding pro-rally drivers. During your experience you will take to the stage in the specially designed Group N spec Ford Fiesta ST rally car, which is currently used in championship rallies around the world. You will learn some of the basics such as throttle control, sliding, oversteer, understeer & cornering at speed. You will begin your experience with a 20 minute in car briefing on rally stage driving techniques. Then you take to the wheel of the state of the art rally car for 12 minutes of rallying with a specially trained instructor. After mastering the basics, you move on to your second session for a further 13 minutes to apply your newly learnt skills.
