Enjoy the high octane thrill of rallying first hand as you take to Silverstone’s specially designed mixed surface rally stage, in a session full of mad-cap manoeuvres & impossible turns. It’s a fantastic way to get a feel for the pure exhilaration of rally driving, & could even be the starting point for all you budding pro-rally drivers. During your experience you will take to the stage in the specially designed Group N spec Ford Fiesta ST rally car, which is currently used in championship rallies around the world. You will learn some of the basics such as throttle control, sliding, oversteer, understeer & cornering at speed. You will begin your experience with a 20 minute in car briefing on rally stage driving techniques. Then you take to the wheel of the state of the art rally car for 12 minutes of rallying with a specially trained instructor. After mastering the basics, you move on to your second session for a further 13 minutes to apply your newly learnt skills. Following this, you will receive a high speed passenger ride where your instructor will show you how the professionals do it! To finish you will receive a full debrief & assessment from your instructor. The person driving the car will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage to the vehicle. The driver will be given an option to purchase damage waiver cover when booking to minimise their financial exposure should there be an accident. Drivers are under no obligation to purchase this optional waiver. Full details are available at the time of booking. The minimum age for this experience is 21 years old. You must weigh no more than 114kg (18 stone) & be between 5’2" (157cm)- 6’4" (193cm) tall. Participants must be physically fit. This is not suitable for those that are pregnant or suffer from epilepsy, high blood pressure or heart problems.
