This nature walk is a wonderful opportunity to take a gentle stroll in the beautiful Peak District, at any time of year you choose. In the spring, some of the dales are filled with rare wild flowers such as early violet orchids, mountain pansies, cowslips, meadow saxifrage etc, & these walks at that time of the year would involve finding & identifying different types of flowers. During the winter months, it is a good time to study the rock formations on the dramatic Peak District grit stone edges & learn a little about the geology of the area, as well as learning to identify some of the lichens that grow on the rocks. Whats more you will learn about how you can minimise your impact on fragile natural environments whilst you are enjoying walking through them. So if youre looking to explore the Peak District, this guided nature walk is the best way to view it all.
