This experience is ideal for thrill seekers & beginners alike. The basics are quick & easy to learn, ensuring that you get the maximum amount of enjoyment from your hour & a half session. With a highly qualified & motivated instructor on h&, get ready to be hooked on the exciting sport of land yachting! Your experience will start with a welcome & safety briefing with your instructor. Following this you will learn the basic techniques necessary to manage this extraordinary vehicle before getting to grips with manoeuvring the land yacht yourself. To finish your activity you will put your newly acquired skills to the test through a set of challenges on a mapped out area of the sandy beach. The minimum age for this experience is 16 years old. You will be given an introduction to the long & patient process of training border collies, their mind & basic instincts, the history of sheepdogs & how the relationship between shepherd & dog became what it is today. You will also get to meet the dogs up close so you can see how loveable they really are & try your hand at working them in the ring with the sheep. This is a great experience for any dog lover. You will begin by meeting with your teacher & expert sheepdog trainer. The experience will commence with learning about the history of border collies & how they are trained. Your teacher will demonstrate how to work a dog & then you will have the opportunity to try your hand at this under their supervision, to put your new found knowledge to the test.
