Po E pass-through Po E pass-through gives the ability to power Po E end devices through drawing Cisco UPOE from the wiring closet. The Catalyst has eight downlink ports with two Cisco UPOE input ports that allow it to be powered by another switch. These switches do not need a power supply & receive power over the uplink from an upstream Po E or Cisco UPOE device, providing deployment flexibility & availability. These switches are ideal for wiring-constrained & space-constrained applications. Cisco Instant Access mode This mode enables a single point of management & operation for campus networks.
