With the Eisbaer, Alphacool is fundamentally revolutionising the AIO cooler market. Classic AIO cooler cannot be expanded or refilled but with the Alphacool Eisbaer the modular design means it can be expanded, rebuilt or refilled at any time. This means the Eisbaer is not just an AIO but is based entirely on classic water cooling components. That is, it is quieter & more powerful than the average AIO solution. The Radiator Alphacool relies on a solid copper radiator. The basis of the radiator is the popular Alphacool Nex Xxo S series which is very popular worldwide. The pure copper construction increases the cooling capacity enormously compared to the usual aluminum radiators of classic AIOs. The low fin density ensures enormous cooling performance on low speed fans. Thus, the performance of the Eisbaer when lowering the fan down much slower than with radiators with high density of fins. The Hoses The flexible PVC hoses facilitate the installation of Eisbaer. This makes it easier to lay the hoses & bring them into the right position. So that they do not bend & so the flow of water is stopped, can be found on both hoses buckling springs. The size 11 / 8mm also comes from the normal water cooling area & is here beside 13/10 & 16/10 a usual size. The Quick fasteners The Eisbaer has been designed directly for expandability. Therefore, you will find a quick release on one of the hoses. This quick release is compatible with the Alphacool HF quick release buckles, which makes it easy to expand the circuit around a radiator with a graphics card cooler. Furthermore, the Eisbaer is compatible with the upcoming Alphacool GPX-Pro graphics cards AIO which will use identical quick release fasteners. The Fans In cooperation with bequiet! The Eisbaer uses the Pure Wings 2 fans to push cool air between the cooling fins. Both fans are operated via a 3-pin connector. A Y-adapter is included in the Eisbaer, so both fans can be controlled via a port on their motherboard or a separate fan control. The Connections All connections are based on the classic G1 / 4 inch thread, the standard thread for water cooling. Therefore, all connections can be exchanged for others at any time if desired. This also means that, for example, they can later use thicker tubes or even hard tubes to make their system more individual. All these features make the Eisbaer cooler something very special. - Copper instead of aluminum & a proven concept Radiator The radiator used is a long-proven high performing product from the Alphacool range meaning the AIO can offer optimium performance. Based on the design of the Alphacool Nex Xxo S radiator, but with a major change: The radiators are now only 25 mm deep & so fit into housings that do not offer so much space between the motherboard & cover. In addition, the radiators have two cooling chambers & are made from copper, which significantly increases the cooling efficiency. The low fin density also ensures that the fan is sufficiently cooled even at low speeds. Fan The 120 mm Ice Wind 12 fan also comes from Alphacool & was specially developed for use on radiators. With 1.66 mm H2O, they generate enormous air pressure to force cool air through the fins of the radiator. The fans are controlled by the PWM connector of the mainboard, a PWM Y adapter is included with the kit. Here, the number of revolutions from 550 to 1700 can be set to be. Efficient pump & copper heat sink The underside of the block, which serves as the CPU cooler, is also made from copper & has a finely corrugated surface on top, while the bottom is smooth to ensure the perfect contact to the CPU.
