Motherboard cooling As with all Zalman's 7000 series coolers, the unique design of the product allows not only the processor to be cooled, but also its surrounding components as shown on the image below. Important components such as the Northbridge chip, RAM, VGA & FET circuitry receive a good share of the cooler's airflow, which increases their reliability & lifespan. Compatibility considerations Socket 775-based motherboards will need to be removed from the chassis to be able to install the CNPS7500.
