The Techconnect range features an attractive architectural front surround system making it suitable for corporate & home-cinema applications, plus robust clip-in modules which make it super-quick to install & flexible. It allows seamless integration of connectivity, audio, & control. Plug-In Cables Modules feature plug-in connectors on the rear. Cables come pre-terminated with male connectors which are simply plugged into the rear of the module. Need to shorten or pull a cable? Just unscrew the captive-screw connector. Techconnect gives you the speed of a pre-terminated system with the flexibility you sometimes need. More Space By using multi-layer printed circuit boards we’ve created much more space behind each module for cables. Includes:: various flush & surface mounting backboxes, & all the surrounds conform to standard British sizes so they fit any locally sourced backboxes. Vision also offers Australian & American surrounds which conform to local standards. Backboxes are carefully designed with convenient easy-push-out sections for trunking & are made from flexible non-marking plastic so are not brittle like common backboxes. Quick & Easy Simple enough that even an inexperienced technician can install it. No soldering is necessary due to its captive screw connector design. The modules are interchangeable, so if in the future you require a different connector to be installed, you can simply buy just the module you want & swap it out. Plug-&-Play Connectivity Unlike cheap VGA cable, Vision’s quality cable has SDA & SCL data lines to support DDC2B (Display Data Channel) which allows the display device to communicate its supported display modes. Without these the user will not experience play-&-play connectivity & will have to manually setup resolution & color bit depth. Installation-Grade Cable When choosing cable don’t be fooled by a thick cable jacket. Does it have adequate copper? Is it shielded evenly to prevent ghosting? A major cost component of cables is copper, so cheap cables have less copper. Compromising can result in cable which doesn’t support high resolutions, & results in flagging or image jitter. The cross-sectional area of Techconnect cable conductors allows sufficient current-carrying capacity to support high resolution signal, & the shielding is evenly wound.
