Inspired by a piece of chinese wallpaper from the 1860's the V&A inspired Phoenix uses a soft duck egg background with a soft ivory pattern, to create a timelessly delicate design. Shearing technique are used by skilled craftsmen to provide areas of light & shade to enhance the mythical pattern & the pile is constructed with h&-tufted viscose to offer softness & lustre to the elegant design. On opening, unroll your rug, flip over & re-roll with the backing on display & leave in a warm room for 24 hours before putting in place. This will help to reduce wrinkles & curling from packing. Use a slip-resist pad to help keep your rug in place & provide additional protection for hard floors. Before using any cleaning products on your rug, test an inconspicuous area first for colour fastness.. Do not pull any loose threads
- please cut carefully loose threads with scissors to remove. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight as this may cause fading of some dyes. Turn your rug regularly to ensure even wear. Clean spills immediately by blotting with a clean dry white cloth
- do not rub. A small amount of fibre loss is normal on a new rug. Latex is used in the making of this rug. May be carefully vacuumed using a floor or brush attachment.
