This Omega rug reproduces a striking design by the iconic Bloomsbury-based graphic workshop of the early 1900s, using a new craft of woven fibres made from recycled plastic bottles. The Omega Workshops was a group of artists, including Vanessa Bell & Duncan Grant, who were ahead of their time & set a fashion for abstract & geometric patterns. The original design, Amenophis, has been linked to the workshop’s founder, the British designer & painter Roger Fry.
