This apple boasts many of the flavour characteristics of Coxs Orange Pippin but is a much better performer. Bred between 1900 & 1920, its self-fertile & keeps really well (until April), with aromatic flavour, & excellent resistance to scab, mildew & canker. It will grow well throughout the UK, the attractive, flushed fruit ready to pick from October. RHS Award of Garden Merit winner. Britain has the best climate in the world for growing apples of the highest quality, flavour & colour. Our apples are grafted onto an M26 rootstock which produces an easy-to-control semi-dwarf tree with medium vigour.
