- A relatively new variety, with excellent fruit, crisp & sweet flavoured. Rosy pink blushed fruit. Golden Delicious
- First introduced in the 1860s. The pale green/gold apples are sweet, juicy, almost tart tasting, with smooth flesh. Can be eaten or cooked. Produces heavy crops in late autumn. Self-fertile. Will store for up to 3 months. Jonagold
- Big yellow apples with large flushes of red; crisp, gleaming white flesh with good sweet acid balance. Late season cropper, with good yields. Needs a pollinator. Bramley
- Britains most loved cooking apple! Will provide a huge crop. Is a triploid variety so will need 2 other apples nearby for pollination. Pollination group 3.
