Product Description

Sun Ray technology is a secure, cost effective solution that delivers rich, virtual Windows, Linux or Solaris OS desktops to Sun Ray clients. The Sun Ray Server Software is centrally managed, enhancing security, reducing complexity & administration of the IT environment.

This five-day workshop introduces students to Sun Ray technology & software administration. Along with installing the Sun Ray Server Software 4.1, the students will be introduced to the architectural details of the software, providing a foundation to understand the individual features introduced in subsequent modules. These features include session mobility (hotdesking), the use of Server Groups for failover & load balancing, & device management of USB (Universal Serial Bus) devices & printers. Additional virtualization topics such as Sun Ray Connector for Windows OS & Sun Secure Global Desktop Software are also introduced.
