This is a five day Bundle course incorporating the following courses:

• Operating Juniper Networks WX Application Acceleration Platforms
• Advanced Operation & Troubleshooting of Juniper Networks WX Series Application Acceleration Platforms

The Operating Juniper Networks WX Application Acceleration Platforms section focuses on installation, configuration, troubleshooting, & operational analysis of the WAN Acceleration (WX) & WAN Acceleration Cache (WXC) platforms. The course covers an overview of WX platform concepts & then moves on to initial installation using Quick Setup. The Web View graphical user interface (GUI) is used to configure & manage the main features of the WX platform: compression (using Molecular Sequence Reduction & Network Sequence Caching), Packet Flow Acceleration (TCP application acceleration), Application Flow Acceleration (which speeds up CIFS, Microsoft Exchange, & HTTP traffic), & implementation of quality-of-service (Qo S) policies. In the labs, students configure & test all these features. The WX Framework's exceptional monitoring & reporting capabilities are featured throughout, & the course ends with an introduction to the WX Central Management System (CMS) software.

The Advanced Operation & Troubleshooting of Juniper Networks WX Series Application Acceleration Platforms section discusses troubleshooting tools & concepts for WX Series platforms & several advanced topics. Key topics include redundancy & backup strategies, encryption, advanced application definitions, & troubleshooting of major technology areas for WX Series devices. This course is based on WXOS software version 5.7.
