- LTE.
This overview course describes the motivations, timescales & goals of LTE as well as identifying the technical features of UMTS that will change to support LTE. The orientation of the course is such that it is suited to both non-specialists & technical radio-oriented planners, architects, etc. New or changed areas described include the use of MIMO antenna systems, OFDM-based multiple access as well as the architectural changes. One topic that is frequently brought up is the co-existence or other wise of LTE & Wi MAX. This subject is given a discussion session
