This 4-day instructor-led class provides technical professionals with the skills needed to administer IBM Web Sphere MQ version 7 queue managers except for IBM Web Sphere MQ for z/OS. For Web Sphere MQ for i Series, see the remarks under Audience. The class is also appropriate for administrators of WMQ version 6.

In this class, students learn how to install, customize, operate, & administer IBM Web Sphere MQ on distributed platforms. Topics covered in this class include configuration, day-to-day administration, problem recovery, & managing security & performance.

In addition to the instructor-led lectures, students also participate in hands-on lab exercises that are designed to reinforce lecture content. The lab exercises utilize IBM Web Sphere MQ V7, giving students practical experience with tasks such as handling queue recovery, implementing security, & problem determination.

Within six (6) months of completing this class or when the certification test expires, whichever comes first, you will be able to take the aligning certification test free of charge.
