Display unit with touch-panel input. Thanks to the ease of programming via the RS 232C serial interface, this user device can be deployed in many systems at great speed. With its fast & variable reprogramming options, it is also suited to small production runs & demonstration purposes. As well as complete graphics functions, there are up to 5 different fonts available for the display output, each of which can be zoomed from 2 mm to approx. 80 mm, & rotated through 90° steps. All texts can be placed to the nearest pixel (!) Various graphics functions, such as box drawing, line placement, histogram insertion, flash attributes, clipboards, drop-down menus, etc. can be used to prepare the visual output. The integrated 64 KB EEPROM memory can hold up to 256 full images & icons (e.g. corporate logos) & up to 1024 macros.
The resistive (pressure sensitive) touch panels are the most elegant & space-saving solution to the keyboard problem. The button sizes & location can be modified while the device is running. The screen is scratchproof, with an anti-reflective coating. The fields are freely definable, allowing each button to be assigned a different function depending on the screen content. Unused buttons are hidden ensuring there can be no duplication of button settings. The user device has 5
