Graham Blyth, one of the founders of Soundcraft, developed a new pre-amp & EQ design to mark the company's 30th anniversary. The LX711 mixer is equipped with these new mic pre-amps, GB30. The design of the successful MH series was taken as a base & related components were transferred over to the LX711 mixer. This has meant the noise performance & clipping resistance could be enhanced to a level not previously possible in this price class. The same goes for the GB30 precision EQ- the MH series tone control was integrated into the LX711 using cheaper components.
