Through the dual-band support, it can alternatively be used in addition to 2.4 GHz also less-troubled 5-GHz band WLAN connections as per 802.11a respectively 802.11na. Via a WLAN switch, the WLAN function can manually, occasionally be switched off & on again. The WLAN Eco Mode adapts during operation the radio power required to the individual situation. Extensive safety mechanisms such as firewall, IP masquerading, & port releases take care of not only the modem but also router operation for a high degree of protection.
The FRITZ!
