Tubifast Vest Tubifast Vest with 2-way Stretch Technology form part of the Tubifast garments range for eczema treatment & dressing fixation. They are comfortable to wear as they allow freedom of movement & feature flat seams to help to prevent skin irritation. To treat atopic eczema on the body and/or arms, Tubifast Vest with sleeves can be used for wet or dry wrapping using an emollient such as Epaderm Ointment. Wet wrapping: An emollient is applied to the affected skin, which is then covered with a damp layer of Tubifast Vest. Working together, the emollient & the damp layer keep the skin hydrated & moist & help reduce inflammation. The damp layer also ensures that the emollient stays in contact with the skin & cools & soothes the skin, helping to reduce the itch. A second, dry layer is then applied, which keeps the child's clothing dry & prevents further scratching from aggravating the skin & causing potential injury. Dry wrapping: This is a similar process to wet wrapping. An emollient is applied to the affected skin, which is then covered with a single, dry layer of Tubifast Vest. Tubifast Vest is available in 5 sizes for children aged 6 months to 14 years. It is recommended that Tubifast garments are sized according to
