Resin 8 Cell-Crea 8or is an easy-to-use resin additive that will add amazing cell structure, blooming, movement & lace effects to resin artwork. Designed to be used with Resin 8 Coat-it Epoxy Resin & Resin 8 Opaque Pigments & will effortlessly add unique effects which can be enhanced & controlled with a heat tool. This magical non-toxic liquid will have you creating beautiful masterpieces in no time. Use a drop in a dirty pour for dramatic cells & in a free pour for more delicate lacing. Their cell-crea 8or is non-toxic, cruelty-free, vegan-friendly & completely safe to use. It is made to cosmetic-grade standards & is odourless, inert, UV stable, non-flammable & contains no VOCs, solvents or aggressive chemicals. Top Tips Use only 2 or 3 drops per 50ml/g of coloured resin
- overuse will mean a greasy surface on your finished painting (which can be removed with a lint-free, dry cloth & a spritz of shine enhancer once the resin has cured). If using 3 colours in artwork only add cell-crea 8or to 1 colour
- for example, if you are using one pink opaque pigment, one blue opaque pigment & a mica powder you only need to add cell-crea 8or to one pot of these, this one pot will in turn have an effect on every colour. Add cell-crea 8or straight after adding colour to your pot of resin mix, before pouring. Dont wait for the resin to start to set, cell-crea 8or will only work if used immediately. You dont really need to add cell crea 8or to any of our white-based opaque pigments (e.g. white, off white, ivory, french manicure, sky blue, peppermint ice). These colours will produce quite magical effects all by themselves! Over-use of a heat gun will produce dimples in the surface of resin art
- try to keep the heat tool a minimum of 10cm away from the surface of wet resin.

Hugely versatile, you can use this mica powder in resin, art, nail polish, card-making, body butter/wax, oil, face products, calligraphy, car paint &, of course, cosmetics such as eyeshadow, lip products & blusher. Decorate the surface of candles, polymer clay & even soap with it. Mix micas together to create new shades & use in card-making & scrap-booking. Ink stamps before stamping onto cardstock, add to polymer clay before its fired, sprinkle a little in your body butter for a golden glow, add to a homemade binder & make wall paint for your kitchen! Resin 8 mica powders are cosmetic grade natural mineral pigments that have a fantastic shimmer & metallic-like appearance. Completely non-toxic, vegan-friendly & cruelty-free, our mica powder has millions of light-reflecting particles which create beautiful shiny effects in all sorts of arts, crafts & cosmetics. From the delicate pastels to bold & vibrant shades, Resin 8 mineral powder pigments are all ethically-sourced. How To Use Intermix: you can create any colour under the sun with the mica powders
- experiment by mixing two or more colours in a small pot prior to use. Quantity in resin: you can pretty much use as much as you like as mica powder is inert, so doesnt affect the chemicals that cause resin & hardener to cure. However, we suggest around a pinenut sized amount for 20mls of resin, a cashew nut for 120mls & an almond for 200mls of resin. Use 10% as the general rule of thumb. Dust into moulds: use a soft-bristled craft brush to dust mica powder inside silicone moulds before making resin castings or candles. This will give you a more controlled shimmer effect.

Resin8 Essential Opaque Pigment Bundle For Resin Art 30g Set Of 5

Strong, long-lasting, and with vibrant colours - these Resin8 Opaque Resin Pigments will add intense flat colours to your resin work. Bold and vibrant, this bundle contains White, Black, Blue, Red and Yellow pigments which can be mixed and combined to form every colour under the sun! These colours are lightfast and have an excellent tolerance to fading in prolonged sunlight as well as having brilliant heat resistance. They are highly concentrated and must be pre-mixed with resin for use. The general rule of thumb is to use up to 10% by volume to your resin mix. How To Use Stir first: these colours can separate from their binder. This is completely normal - it just needs a good mix up. Intermix: you can create any colour under the sun with our opaque pigments - try mixing
two colours in a small pot prior to adding to your resin mix. Use sparingly: the general rule of thumb is to use up to 10% by volume to your resin mix (1 part pigment to 10 parts resin mix). Any more than this and you will interfere with the resin ratio resulting in your work curing with a tacky or flexible finish. Resin8 likes to think about the amounts to use in terms of nuts & seeds... for 20mls resin you need a SESAME seed sized amount of pigment; for 40mls a PINE NUT, for 100mls a SUNFLOWER SEED; and for 250ml a CASHEW NUT sized amount of pigment. Add to resin: these pigments do not work like traditional paints (and cant be used to paint with on paper or canvas) - they must be pre-mixed with resin Adding to JESMONITE®: These pigments are not designed for use with
JESMONITE® and will appear much lighter in colour if added. As they can affect the cure of JESMONITE®, we recommend using our range of specially-designed JESMONITE® pigments instead.
