SMARTnet support provides customers with software updates & upgrades, registered access to Cisco Connection Online (CCO), advance replacement of hardware, & technical support. Cisco Systems developed SMARTnet services to meet the maintenance requirements of customers with internal maintenance support staff. The SMARTnet support product is based on Cisco's philosophy of moving beyond traditional business barriers to achieve the following: make all of Cisco's information, services, & support available to its customers on dem&, deliver fast response & high customer satisfaction, improve user productivity, significantly lower the cost of doing business. SMARTnet Premium service provides all of the features of SMARTnet service, plus the fastest response time for replacement parts, 4-hour or 2-hour response time for advance replacement parts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including Cisco-observed holidays.
