A nice piece of sycamore was turned for this bowl /dish. Sanded smooth on the top & textured with a wire brush on the side. A combination of green & blue acrylic paint was applied whilst the lathe was running creating the swirl effect. I then lightly sanded the work to reveal some of the natural colour underneath. Signed & dated using English & Runic script. Measurements are 200mm x 70mm {8 ins x 2 3/4 ins }. ...
