Pair Of Solid Oak Personalised Jigsaw Boxes
A pair of solid oak gift or presentation boxes, ideal for couples. Can be engraved on the top and bottom surfaces of the lids, for a personalised touch. The boxes slot together as you would expect! They look wonderful with a big, bold single capital letter on each, in a variety of traditional and modern fonts. Alternatively, how about a bold '2' and '5' for a silver wedding anniversary, or '5' and '0' for a golden anniversary?
The boxes together measure approx 13cm by 23cm, with a thickness of 5cm. The 'square' part of each box interior is approx 7.5 cm by 11 cm, making them perfect for jewellery boxes, or storage for cufflinks, watches, and so on.
If you prefer text, eg 'Mum' & 'Dad', a name, a date, or a special message on each box, we suggest a maximum of two or three
lines of text, of 6-8 characters per line, for each box. Send us your ideas and we will be happy to advise. Whenever possible, we source our wood from industrial offcuts, excess stocks and reclaim sources in the UK. All solid timber can change as it ages, and you should protect your product from constant changes in temperature and humidity. We apply a simple oil finish, which gives a very pleasant smooth matt sheen to the wood, and no lacquers or varnishes to flake off over time. The wood can be cleaned with a damp cloth, and recoated with oil should it be needed (recommended once or twice a year) to maintain the finish. Please note that the colour and figuring of wood varies quite a lot, and even similar pieces can develop differently during oiling. The images should therefore
be used as a guide only: the finish you recieve may be a little lighter or darker. For delivery, we wrap each product in a combination of fabric, paper, bubblewrap and cardboard, according to what is needed to protect each item. If you would like your product gift wrapped, we will be delighted to help, at no extra cost: please just let us know when you place your order. We will use strong brown paper over whatever is needed to protect the item, and add some further protection for shipping. We'll make sure it looks gift-like and intriguing
