Pair Of Green Fern Cushions
Bring a bit of the outside in with a beautiful pair of modern contemporary cushions which will evoke memories of walking across the Great English countryside. The calming colours of the millpond and the greens from the Ferns will add a comfortable and calming addition to any sofa.
The inspiration came when Sarah stumbled upon the ferns growing at the waters edge of a lake at Scotney Castle in Kent. She was struck by the vibrant greens against the still millpond. I love the texture and curls of the fern leaf or bracken and evokes memories of running wild in the woods in Staffordshire as a young child.
The green fern cushions are made from digitally printed heavy panama cotton. The design is printed in small runs in a print studio in Sussex by Dan and Louse. The fabric is printed, washed
and steamed to ensure colour fastness. These cushions have been carefully sewn to order by the talented Velda, in Leigh on Sea, Essex. The cushions can be washed or dry cleaned.
