The inspiration came when Sarah stumbled upon the ferns growing at the waters edge of a lake at Scotney Castle in Kent. She was struck by the vibrant greens against the still millpond. I love the texture & curls of the fern leaf or bracken & evokes memories of running wild in the woods in Staffordshire as a young child. The green fern cushions are made from digitally printed heavy panama cotton. The design is printed in small runs in a print studio in Sussex by Dan & Louse.
