We designed our Tristools to be virtually indestructible thanks to their chunky solid oak construction, with through-tenon leg joints & no screws, nails or other fixings. They are stable & very useful

Whenever possible, we source our wood from industrial offcuts, excess stocks & reclaim sources in the UK. All solid timber can change as it ages, & you should protect your product from constant changes in temperature & humidity. We apply a simple oil finish, which gives a very pleasant smooth matt sheen to the wood, & no lacquers or varnishes to flake off over time. The wood can be cleaned with a damp cloth, & recoated with oil should it be needed (recommended once or twice a year) to maintain the finish. Please note that the colour & figuring of wood varies quite a lot, & even similar pieces can develop differently during oiling.
