- 2012 Back in the days when I was taking my first turns on a snowboard there were snowboards & then there were Ride snowboards. Ride snowboards were know for progressive technology, sick graphics but most of all for their uncompromising freeride & freestyle boards which were stiffer & gnarlier than anything else at the time. Snowboarding has come a long way since those days & snowboards have become progressively softer & the reverse camber revolution has changed the face of snowboarding forever. What Ride have done with the Highlife UL is taken the premise of their heritage snowboards and married it with the technology of today, the result is a board that is unbelievably responsive, lightening quick edge to edge, with all the power of a traditional camber shape and the advantage of added float with a longer, rockered nose. The Highlife is for snowboarder who hanker after the good ol' days, or anyone who wants to rip around the mountain very quickly!  PROFILE: Hybrid All Mountain STYLE:  All Mountain Freestyle/ Freeride SHAPE:  Directional Setback. 75"/19mm CORE: NEW UL Core FIBERGLASS:  Pop Glass  BASE: NEW UL Sintered Base SIDEWALLS: 90A Slimewalls EDGES: NEW UL Steel ADDITIONAL TECH: NEW Pop Rods 3.0 Silencer 5 Carbon Array 5 Membrain FLEX: 9

Ride EX Snowboard Binding - Franken - 2013

Ride EX Snowboard Binding - Franken - 2013 WARNING. If symmetry and sympathetic colour matching are part of your OCD makeup then this is NOT a binding for you! The Ride EX is at the more flexible end of the binding spectrum making it a sweet ride for riders looking for their first binding through to freestylers who like to let it all hang out and everyone in-between. The EX delivers response through Ride’s Foundation Chassis, with its adjustable heel cup and forward lean, teamed up with the ComfortFlex highback, which is wider and softer than your average highback to allow greater rider movement and therefore sicker style! Comfort comes through the Wedgie 1.5 footbed and EVA basepad dampening allied to the Thingrip toe straps and the new RAD ankle straps, which are now easier to get
in and out of thanks to the new buttery Astroglyde OG ratchets. As you can see from the image, this is a colourful set of bindings; every single binding features a unique composition of colours meaning that no two will be the same, even between a pair! The EX comes with disks compatible on 3D, 4x4 and channel fixing systems and should be acquired by those looking to add some colour to the hills they ride!
