- 2012 Back in the days when I was taking my first turns on a snowboard there were snowboards & then there were Ride snowboards. Ride snowboards were know for progressive technology, sick graphics but most of all for their uncompromising freeride & freestyle boards which were stiffer & gnarlier than anything else at the time. Snowboarding has come a long way since those days & snowboards have become progressively softer & the reverse camber revolution has changed the face of snowboarding forever. What Ride have done with the Highlife UL is taken the premise of their heritage snowboards and married it with the technology of today, the result is a board that is unbelievably responsive, lightening quick edge to edge, with all the power of a traditional camber shape and the advantage of added float with a longer, rockered nose. The Highlife is for snowboarder who hanker after the good ol' days, or anyone who wants to rip around the mountain very quickly!  PROFILE: Hybrid All Mountain STYLE:  All Mountain Freestyle/ Freeride SHAPE:  Directional Setback. 75"/19mm CORE: NEW UL Core FIBERGLASS:  Pop Glass  BASE: NEW UL Sintered Base SIDEWALLS: 90A Slimewalls EDGES: NEW UL Steel ADDITIONAL TECH: NEW Pop Rods 3.0 Silencer 5 Carbon Array 5 Membrain FLEX: 9

Ride DHK Kids Snowboard 148 Wide - 2013

Ride DHK Kids Snowboard 148 Wide - 2013 The premise behind the DHK is that aspiring rippers, or groms as we like to label them, should learn their moves on a snowboard that shares the same characteristics as the boards they will graduate onto as adults. The DHK features Ride’s twin rocker profile to make learning a more catch free experience as well as making freestyle moves more accessible as the young groms progress up the ladder to stardom. Perhaps the best feature of the DHK are the Slimewall sidewalls, these are made of Urethane and can handle much more punishment that a traditional sidewall without blowing out the rails, which is pretty handy considering the amount of abuse these youngsters dish out to their boards. The base on the DHK is also tougher than your average base,
the Fusion 1500 is a great combination of speed and durability, it’s also easy to repair, another bonus! The Foundation tuned core has been designed to be responsive and poppy to make all types of riding intuitive and fun, especially when paired up with the Thin Con construction, which makes the board easier to manoeuvre for young muscles. The DHK is one of the more advanced kids boards on the market and is ideal for kids of all abilities to learn and perfect their technique on. PROFILE: Rocker STYLE: All Mountain Freestyle SHAPE: Twin Centred FIBERGLASS: Biaxial Glass BASE: Fusion 1500 Base SIDEWALLS: Urethane Slimewalls CORE: Foundation Tuned ADDITIONAL TECH: Thin Con FLEX: 7 Please note that, although we make every effort to provide accurate images, the layout and
colours used in the base and topsheet graphics may change slightly from the image shown. Please call the store or press 'Live Help' to discuss the exact graphics.
