We heard that the K2 boffins were away in the desert finding themselves when they stumbled into Area 51 quite by accident, they don't talk about what happened there, but they have produced a new boot for 2012 called the UFO, coincidence? The UFO certainly has some revolutionary tech contained within its sleek lines, the boffins have come up with a urethane endoskeletal structure, melted down skate wheels formed into a framework upon which they build the boot, designed to take the strain of flexing the boot away from the stitching & material & place it on this skeletal framework increasing the durability of the boot & giving a more consistent flex pattern. Sound complicated? I guess it doesn't matter; the resulting boot is kick-ass & comes with Boa Conda, a power strap & Harshmellow dampening to keep you secure & comfortable all day on the hill.
