This course is aimed at the beginner to those with some understanding of digital photography. Even if you are using some of the manual controls on your camera but don't fully understand the practicality of the manual controls
- this course will suit you. The day will include several workshops in aperture, shutter speed, ISO, white balance & exposure control. It will also include the rules of compensation & how you can apply compensation creatively to drastically improve your photography. You’ll learn how to create depths of field & how to produce a sense of movement to capture the action. These workshops are designed for you to get the most out of your camera both practically & creatively. By spending the day with professional instructors, they will help you develop your practical & creative skills. You won't be overloaded with jargon or rules as there are no rules to photography! By the end of the workshop you are guaranteed to feel confident & imaginative enough to produce amazing photographs. To make the most of your experience, the instructors will be at hand to answer any questions you may have weeks or even months after your course. The day starts at 9.30am & finishes around 4.30pm
- we always hang around later than that to answer specific questions or to run through additional topics, depending on how hungry you are for more knowledge! We don’t like too much theory & whilst you will learn the important lessons of how the camera works, we’ll also get you out there using your camera & taking photographs.

Enjoy the adrenalin-fuelled buzz of rally driving with this thrilling Full Day Rally driving experience. Whether you’re a seasoned petrol head or just want to try a driving experience that is different, you’ll enjoy the exciting rush of throwing a speeding rally car around the track. You can forget all the rules you have learnt about driving on the road & really let rip with as much speed as you dare. Rally driving is all about white-knuckles gripping the steering wheel, pulling up the handbrake & taking those corners at a skid. For fast & furious excitement, it's hard to beat. You'll start your day with an introductory safety briefing from your instructor & then it's time to get behind the wheel for some practice sessions. You'll learn techniques such as hand brake turns & controlled opposite lock slides. Many of the courses have loose surface stages
- which means much more sliding, lots of skidding &, ultimately, much more fun! The cars you will drive will vary according to the location. The person driving the car will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage to the vehicle. The driver will be given an option to purchase damage waiver cover when booking to minimise their financial exposure should there be an accident. Climbing is all about being outdoors on real rock, & this course is designed to allow both beginners & indoor climbers to learn the skills necessary to safely enjoy climbing on sandstone. You will learn how to set up top ropes, use guide books & chose the right kit, as well as sharpening your climbing skills. This is a great rally experience where you can spend a whole day behind the wheel of some rallying legends. At first you'll be tackling the Subaru WRX & Mitsubishi Evo on a tarmac stage which is nothing in comparison to a loose gravel stage. You'll get to drive both the Focus RS & VW Polo Group N Rally cars on the dirt. You'll find that most of the time you will be looking out of the side windows to see where you're headed. This is a great experience to introduce you to the world of rallying. Your experience will begin with a welcome, introduction & safety briefing on circuit driving techniques. You will then receive a demonstration with an instructor in a Subaru Impreza WRX rally car on a tarmac stage. Then it will be your turn to drive. You will drive a Subaru Impreza WRX & Mitsubishi Evo on a tarmac stage & a Focus RS & VW Polo on a gravel stage. There will then be a short stop for lunch & then you'll do it all again in the afternoon to see if you can enhance your rally skills. At the end you will be rewarded with an individual Driving Certificate & be given a high speed passenger ride with an instructor at the wheel to see how it should be done! The person driving the car will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage to the vehicle. The driver will be given an option to purchase damage waiver cover when booking to minimise their financial exposure should there be an accident. Take part in this fantastic Western Adventure Day, as you learn about the western-style of riding & help to prepare the horses for a day trailing the New Forest. On this experience you'll be riding in a Western saddle. Western saddles are mainly used for western riding, for working horses throughout the United States & they're the choice of saddle for cowboys. They are designed to provide security & comfort for all riders on long journeys, especially over rugged terrain. Your working day starts at 9am with a coffee, a bacon sarny & an introduction by the Trail Leaders. The first task of the day is grooming & getting to know your horse. You'll be shown how to fit headcollars & how to 'lead' & 'rack up' on the yard. Finish by tacking up your horse before stopping for a quick coffee break. After coffee it's time to mosey down to one of the arenas for a western riding lesson, where you'll be taught the basics of western-style. Lunchtime is for horses & riders alike, so after ensuring that your mount has hay & water, it's time to sit down to a sizzling ' Chicken & Steak' BBQ lunch. After lunch set off to ride into the wide blue yonder on a Western Trail into the new Forest. Beginners are welcome on all western rides since only gentle paces are used. The trail takes you across the plains where you will ride amongst the free roaming wild forest ponies, foals & cattle, & then on into several of the forest enclosures where, with a bit of luck, you may catch a glimpse of the Forest Deer or one of the other inhabitants of the woods. Finally the day winds up back at the ranch where the horses need untacking & a good rub down before hay & feeds. That done, you get the chance to sit down with plenty of hot coffee & a doughnut or you can help turn the horses back out into their fields for a good roll & a play before they settle down to munch the grass. ...
