Why should I have a Tulip Hood on my lens, & what will it do ? This is a popular question put to the 7dayshop support staff, & asked on many photographic forums... The Tulip hood is a VERY useful addition that will help reduce " Flare" & " Discoloured Spots" that are caused by sun/light entering the lens at a less than optimal angle (such as side-on & slightly to the front of the lens) on wide-angle (anything less than 35mm) & zoom lenses..." Flare" is caused by light striking the outer lens elements (the glass pieces that make up the entire lens) & causing a washed-out or over-exposed area on the image (sound familiar?)..." Discolouration Spots" usually appear as violet/ Blue/ Yellow Hexagonal or Octagonal dots of varying size, that can ruin an otherwise normally exposed image... To counter these, the Hood can be mounted/rotated to provide perfect positioning of the different height " Petals", depending on where the sun/light is (eg to the left/right/below/above the front of the lens)... The Hood can also reduce the appearance of dust on frontal lens elements, in certain circumstances (but a clean dust-free lens is always best
- please see our lens cleaning kits, cloths & sprays)... These hoods are tough & impact-resistant & offer incredible value, & should be in every photographers kit-bag... Check the front of your lens for the correct size diameter when ordering (in mm), This hood is for a 62mm threaded lens...7dayshop Info: Lens hoods & filters will typically fit onto the front of your lens by screwing clockwise into place. Most lenses will show what diameter filter or hood is required on the front with a small circle symbol (like F58mm) Filter sizes are given as a mm size & most popular sizes go from 49mm up to 82mm although they can vary outside of this range for more specialist cameras & lenses.

7dayshop Photographers Multi-Use Backpack Rucksack - Camera Bag For
DSLR Cameras Incl. Canon EOS And Nikon

Whether you’re an enthusiast or casual photographer, you will need a sturdy SLR camera bag to carry and protect your valuable equipment. This might include camera bodies and cameras with lenses mounted, lenses, flash guns and many smaller accessories etc.

A SLR or DSLR camera is not only expensive but also treated as a treasured item so it makes good sense to protect it with a decent camera case.
Digital models of SLR cameras have many exposed components which could be prone to knocks and picking up scratches that could permanently damage the equipment. The lens, memory slot, and battery pack are also vulnerable to the elements. If you want to extend the lifetime of your expensive equipment, buying a durable SLR camera case with adequate protective features is a must.
This bag features an adjustable velcro multi-section divider system that allows for many configurations. The bag has additional zip pockets on the inside and the outside ideal for accessory storage etc. Good padding at the back and on the straps provide additional comfort.

 Internal Dimensions: 25 x 40 x 15 cm (width x height x depth)

Buy with Complete Confidence: All 7dayshop products come with a unique 30 day 101% Satisfaction assurance. If for any reason you are not totally delighted with your 7dayshop product, then please return to us for a no quibble refund of the purchase price paid

Great for use with Canon EOS systems and Nikon D system digital cameras but also older 35mm SLR cameras like Minolta, Olympus, Practica, Pentax etc.
