As the light doesn't have to be left on it will be less disturbing for some subjects too. This is a really smart feature that isn't found on any other video lights!!

Mount straight onto the hotshoe of the camera or alongside your camera using the bracket provided or even use it hand-held (wire-free!) to reduce shadows or to add a key or highlight etc. Offering a useful 10 levels of brightness via a simple + and - button will allow you to achieve the correct level of light very quickly too.
Our favourite additional feature is that thanks to rapid change, magnetic diffuser covers you can choose whether you would like the standard bright white light using the clear diffuser OR switch out to a 'warm up' light from the orange diffuser (great for portraiture) which is used as the rear battery compartment. Brilliantly simple!
The unit can be powered with 4 x AA size batteries - standard or rechargeable. (check out our related items for some of the UK's best battery deals). Battery consumption will depend on the brightness level used and of course the power of the batteries that you use.
