You need to register your gift before the ‘register by’ date on your gift registration booklet. We recommend that you register your gift as soon as possible. How long does my adoption last? Your adoption lasts for 12 months from the date of registration. How long does it take for me to receive my certificate, photograph, free ticket and discount voucher? These will be dispatched within 28 days receipt of your registration details. Occasionally, factors outside of Gift Republic’s control may affect delivery times. Which owl have I adopted? Rescued owls are often re-homed once suitable carers are found. In
addition, often injured owls are cared for, brought back to health and then released back into the wild. For these reasons, individual owls are not available for adoption. However by adopting a species of owl, you are helping Turbary Woods Sanctuary to continue in their rescue and rehabilitation of owls and other birds of prey. Can I visit the owls? Yes! We urge you to go and visit the owls at Turbary Woods – a great family day out. By registering this gift you will receive one free ticket to go and visit the owls! If you visit on a weekend, you may even get the chance to fly your adopted species of owl for free, subject to weather conditions and the owl being fit to fly. These opportunities cannot be guaranteed but be sure to take along your discount voucher to be eligible! The
Sanctuary is open seven days a week. The full address and contact details are provided in the gift tin. How do I use my discount voucher? Your discount voucher entitles you to 10% discount on the cost of an Owl & Hawk Experience Day for one or two people at the Sanctuary. Your voucher, along with full instructions on how to book, will be sent with your certificate, photograph and free ticket, after registration. Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of registration. Your voucher also entitles you to 10% discount on purchases at Turbary Woods gift shop.
