For more than 100 years, IWACHU has been the largest producer of cast iron teapots & kitchenware in Japan. Teapots are made by pouring 1500cc of hot liquid iron into the mould which is then left to cool & harden. They are then released from the mould & are individually smoothed by a sander to remove any rough edges. The inside is then coated before being painted on the outside. Each piece is individually inspected before it is allowed to leave the factory to ensure it is of the highest quality.

Brand new for 2014 from Hario is the Halogen Beam Heater. A beautiful, robust & effective heater with user controls for temperature & time, with memory storage of your favourite profiles. Syphon brewing with precise control like never before! HARIO presents the Smart Beam Heater, a heater for coffee syphons featuring an LCD panel which allows users to operate the heater by touching the screen with their fingertips. Separating itself from the conventional alcohol lamp & gas flame as the syphon source of heat, this brand new halogen heater offers the best results from a clever & efficient design. Stable heat generation & a soft, red light are only a few of its benefits. The Smart Beam Heater is stylish in design with elegant features! It looks great on countertops & has an intuitive touch panel screen! Control panel functions are easily adjustable with a simple touch. By simply tapping or sliding, both the stopwatch function can be set & temperature adjusted. In response, the screen will indicate the adjustments by the color it displays. Using a syphon coffee maker involves many actions during the brewing process, such as stirring the grounds while keeping a close watch on the level of heat. To better help manage this, the Smart Beam Heater digitally displays the time & temperature all at once, while giving the user the ability to operate all the variables with just one finger. The Smart Beam Heater features 3 modes of operation; basic, memory & professional mode. In basic mode, you can manually adjust the level of heat & the timer. In memory mode, both these settings can be retained by the systems memory for recipe creation, giving the user the ability to create consistent results when developing a technique. In professional mode, 4 buttons (HEAT/BREW/KEEP/STOP) give absolute control. Please note, that this product will be dispatched directly from the manufacturer, & can only be delivered to a UK address. This dewy white tea from Anhui Province in China owes its youthful taste to the meticulous process of picking a bud & the youngest two leaves from each tea bush. The result is a beautiful silver-green style of leaf, yielding a crystalline sweetness with smooth notes of cantaloupe melon. To preserve the delicate taste of the young silver buds & downy green leaves, white tea undergoes very little processing. Unlike green teas which are steamed or fired to cut short the oxidation process, the freshly picked leaves are simply left to dry, either under the sun or inside for better control of temperature & humidity. As a result, the leaves experience some light oxidation, highlighting their soft sweetness & muting the greener, grassier flavours you might associate with a green tea. The minimal processing allows the leaves to retain a large proportion of their natural antioxidants. White tea is known to be high in the antioxidant EGCG, reputed to rejuvenate the skin & relax the body. It's ideal if you're feeling a bit worse for wear. ...

An intense & savoury dark bar. The chocolate has little to not fruit but instead is infused with a seriously smokey aroma. The flavour have less of a nutty roasted quality than a big blast of woodsmoke. Wooded hints of tobacco, rough leather ad saddle soap drift under the smoke. Though not that dark, the strong flavours counteract any sweetness, making this an intense & unique tasting experience. ...
