We pride ourselves on sourcing fine wines that are produced in small quantities, previously only found on the wine lists of top restaurants in France, but now made available for retail by The Perfect Cellar. For the keen wine collector, we have chosen four of our favourites that would make any Christmas meal special. We start off with a complex, stylish Champagne from one of the region's rising stars, Tendil & Lombardi. Then, move on to a leading premier cru Chablis from a dedicated young grower, Charly Nicolle. No festive meal is complete without a top Claret, & here we have a leading Saint Emilion from the remarkable 2009 vintage: it's one that you could cellar for another 20 years, but 2009 was the sort of vintage where the wines are delicious young, too. To finish with, one of the world's great sweet wines, a 15 year old Maury from the South of France, which spends its first year ageing in glass demijohns out in the sun. It's incredibly complex, & a great way to end any meal.
