Product Description

Deliciously fresh & fruity, this ultra-modern white Rioja is a thirst-quenching number that's got summer written all over it. From garden parties to picnics, if you need something to cool you down & give you a lift, this tangy, zesty delight will do the job nicely. Perfect with all things fishy or big salads with creamy dressings Bodegas Honorio Rubio is a family-run property based in the small town of Cordovin in La Rioja Alta, 20km south of Haro & 30km south-east of Logrono. The Rubio-Villar family own a total of 15 hectares spread across Cordovin, & control another 50 hectares owned by wine growers from whom they have purchased grapes for many years. Pale straw in colour with vibrant green hints, leading to a deliciously perfumed nose of ripe pear, peach & citrus aromas, backed with a hint of toasted aniseed. In the mouth it is fresh & citrussy, with persistent lemon & floral flavours, zesty acidify & a lively bitter lemon finish. A very pleasant & well-made wine.
