Product Description

The haiku journal follows our vampire narrator from the birth of America all the way to present time, as he writes sporadically through the centuries. The playful main character has a long biography that winds through numerous wars, a certain tea party in Boston, living the high life during the Great Depression, corrupting Emily Dickinson. The poems intertwine three main elements: being a vampire, living during the entire history of America, & forever longing to find & be with the woman who turned him into a vampire many years ago as he crossed the Atlantic Ocean on the Mayflower.
