Tracker2 offers the fastest, most precise pinpointing, with triple receive antenna, instantaneous realtime display, and easytouse interface. The intuitive mechanical search/transmit switch makes it even easier to use. It also includes Special mode and multiple burial indicator lights.
Tracker DTS is the easiest and best-selling beacon on the market because of its rapid processor and simple user interface. A realtime, digital display shows both direction and distance with bright red LEDs. The distance is shown in meters and indicator lights display the direction of transmitting beacons. The Tracker has established a strong reputation for durability and reliability.
In 1997, the Tracker DTS revolutionized the transceiver market by introducing Digital, Dual Antennae Technology. Since then, it has become the world's best-selling transceiver.Tracker DTS is the easiest beacon on the market because of its Rapid Processor and simple User interface. As the worlds most widely used transceiver, the Tracker has established a strong reputation for durability and reliability. The digital transceiver is ideal for any beginners or those who are inexperienced with avalanche rescue as it is so simple to use and easy to get to grips with. If skiers are caught out by an avalanche, their companions in the vicinity have their work cut out. They have to locate the victims and dig them out as quickly as possible. The chances of survival diminish rapidly after 18 minutes of burial in the snow. Avalanche transceivers are essential items of equipment for anyone going off piste. The Avalanche transceiver can make the difference between life and death. When the tracker shows youre within 3 metres of the victim, put the beacon to the ground and prepare to use the probe and shovel. The transceiver should be carried on you, worn directly under your outermost layer and switched on to transmission mode every time you go off piste. Keep it turned on until back on piste. Features Includes free Instructional DVD. Ideal for beginners, easy to use. Display shows both direction and distance with bright red LEDs (light emitting diodes). Distance shown in metres. Indicator lights display the direction of transmitting beacons.
Safety in a set! Ortovox have combined their most popular products as a pre-packaged set and placed them in a high-quality box, to make your decision even easier. The 3+ avalanche transceiver, the Beast avalanche shovel and the 240 light pfa avalanche probe!
The new S1+ combines the success stories of two unique transceiver innovations: the display of the relative location of avalanche victims and the SMART ANTENNA TECHNOLOGY! The Ortovox S1 is a sensor controlled avalanche receiver whose three antennas allow for multiple burial detection. The flip phone design of the transceiver makes it light, compact and easy to carry at all times. The harness that comes with the transceiver is even handily labelled so theres no difficulty when strapping it on.The basic functions of the sensor are easy to grasp and use: when the transceiver is shut it is in transmit mode and to turn it on to search mode, simply flip it open. After 90 seconds of inactivity, it will automatically switch back to transmit mode (though this can be changed to happen after 30, 60 or 120 seconds) which is an important safety feature in the instance of a follow up avalanche. The transceiver computer screen display shows all the buried victims in the area on a map, with the distance to each victim shown. When locating a victim, they will be shown on screen as a man, which you can then line yourself up with and walk towards. Other buried victims will then be shown passing on either side of you as you walk towards the primary victim.Up to three victims can be displayed on the screen at one time. When you are three metres away, the display changes to that of a circle containing the distance to the victim in the middle, with arrows warning you if you go in the wrong direction or away from the body. The transceiver emits an audible tone as well to alert you to the proximity of the body, which changes in tone when you are close to the victim. The transceiver has the added feature of being able to suppress the buried victims transceiver signal once you have pinned their location, allowing you to move on to the next victim.Warning signals will be displayed on screen if you stop moving or tilt the transceiver whilst it is still gathering information, reducing its ability to process the information correctly. It also features a compass and inclinometer. It is essential that you practice with the transceiver before taking it off piste to ensure you know how to use it correctly in case of an emergency. Whilst most of the signs that appear on screen are easy to understand, some may require you checking the user manual.

The 3+'s Smart Antenna technology with intelligent position recognition automatically switches to the best transmission antenna. It will identify which antenna is most horizontally orientated, thanks to its internal inclinometer, and start to talk with the rescuers antenna. Since searches are always done with the transceiver held horizontally then the 2 transceivers will talk as loudly as possible to each other as their antennas will be on the same orientation.Features:3 AntennasMultiple burial facilityPrecise real time displayDirectional arrowsRubberized housing250hrs transmission timeSearch lane width of 40mCircular range of 43mWeight: 200g
This user friendly 3+ digital transceiver from Ortovox incorporates Smart Antenna technology utilizing intelligent mobile position recognition technology. This analyses the position of the 3+'s three antennas and automatically identifies the optimal transmission antenna. The circular precise real time display screen clearly indicates the position and distance to the buried victim (also the battery capacity and consumption) with directional arrows enabling you proceed in the right direction. The precision and accuracy of this device efficiently reduces labour time enabling maximum efficiency to locate the buried victim. There is also a large safety switch-back to transmit mode button in case of a follow-up avalanche scenario. The 3+ is also ideal for multiple burials with an overview and number of victims displayed. After retrieving a victim, there is an option to blend out their signal with the pin key (the 3+ then shows that victim as pinned) allowing you to move on to rescue the remaining people.Durable ergonomic rubberized housing safely protects the transceiver from the elements, while the light display and optimized acoustics make searching at night easier. If skiers are caught out by an avalanche, their companions in the vicinity have their work cut out. Worst coupling positions are thus eliminated. 3+ Fast Find The presentation of the real-time display is limited to the essentials. It displays the distance and direction. Once you are in the refined search area, the displayed circle shows whether you are getting closer to the victim or moving away from him/her. Battery status and number of buried/marked victims appear small. 3+ Fine Search In the refined search area, the patented circular display shows you whether you are getting closer to the victim or moving away from him/her in increments of 10 cm. The optimized, distinct search acoustics supports you in the search by pitch of the tone and volume.

Mammut's innovative Pulse Barryvox Avalanche Beacon, provides the ability to perform pre-search triage and find multiple buried victims quickly. The Pulse uses a 360 degree direction arrow that leading to the shortest path to the victim and eliminating the need for a final grid search. The Pulse Beacon can search for up to eight signals at once. A triple antenna eliminates all signals except the one you're following and marks victims once they're located. This beacon even shows which signals are being searched for by other Pulse users, so the search is more efficient. If you're the one buried, this Mammut beacon also has a motion sensor that detects vital signs and lets other Pulse users know you're still alive. In avalanche rescue, efficiency is everything; this Mammut beacon shortens your search and buys time for whoever is buried.
